Ambient documentation is the first AI category where practice leaders report time back rather than novelty, and Abridge is one of the more credible options. The draft still needs a clinician's eyes, and the practices that do well set that expectation early rather than promising an empty inbox. The questions to press on are the unglamorous ones: whether audio is retained, whether your conversations train anyone's model, and what the contract says about both. Ask for that in writing, not in a demo.
