Self-scheduling is easy to buy and hard to run. The software will happily fill your calendar with visits your providers should not be seeing, so the value comes from the booking rules you write, not the booking page. Keeping scheduling in the same place as intake avoids the common failure where a patient books online and still fills out paper. Start with one visit type, watch what patients choose, then widen.
