Every practice has a shared login somewhere, usually to a payer portal, and usually written down. A credential manager replaces that with something recoverable when the office manager leaves. 1Password is chosen because staff adopt it without resistance, which is the only measure that matters here. The real work is inventory: listing every shared account, deciding who needs it, and removing the ones nobody can explain. The software is the easy part.
